This elaborate custom designed direct mail piece created a big stir after being delivered to audiologists. The oversized package was not quite the size of an actual tennis racquet. The messaging tied into the product launch, highlighting an active lifestyle and various sports activities.
Double sided 4-color printed inserts were wrapped in hard plastic. Each of the finished front and back halves interlocked nicely to form one object. Inside of the package was a dummy sample hearing aid, product literature, a welcome letter, fitting software, and a measuring tool which were all secured within several custom recessed areas. Due to post office regulations, the fully assemble package was delivered wrapped in a rectangular outer-sleeve made from corrugated cardboard.
